Singapore Airlines Cabin Crew Recruitment 2012 (3)

The next SIA cabin crew recruitment walk-in interview date is already out. For those who did not make it on the 11th Feb, here's your chance again! First timers can also start by preparing early.

Requirements are the same as the recent recruitment drive but do note that the venue is different.

If you are thinking of getting a one-on-one coaching from me to get that added edge for your interview, do book your slots early. That way, you will have sufficient time to practice the techniques you learn. Also, as I often travel for work, I may have to turn down many participants when the date draws near like during the last recruitment in Feb. I was away for 10 days from late Jan to early Feb and had to turn people down.

Frankly, if you attend the coaching just 1 day prior to the interview, I really see no point unless it's for a revision. You do need some time to practice. The job of a cabin crew needs someone who can think on their feet for day to day situations that happen onboard. The interviewers need to see that you have this ability. If you sound like you have memorized answers from some 10 years series during the interview, I can't imagine that they will be impressed. What happens when something you have never encountered happens onboard? Your bible (little black book of answers) will only bring you as far as common incidences that occur frequently and trust me, in the airline, out of the world incidences happen all the time. Let's not even think that far, what if your interviews thinks that you sound like a parrot regurgitating from a 10 year series and ask you an unexpected question? What will you do then?

Just some things to think about while you prepare. Below is the date and venue for the next interview. As always, if it's your dream, then don't give up hope!

Date and venue:

14 April 2012 (Saturday)
Sheraton Towers Hotel
39 Scotts Road
Singapore 228230
